The Inn Dalwhinnie (Town: Dalwhinnie)

Rooms from: £37
Welcome to the coolest hotel in the Highlands. The inn is located in the magnificent Cairngorms National Park on the banks of the River Truim, opposite Loch Ericht; truly the perfect spot from which to explore the Highlands. The bar/restaurant is mellow and relaxed with fat comfy leather sofas, and tables overlooking the river. From here you can enjoy spectacular views, unwind to the cool languid sounds, sip organic fairtrade coffee or maybe a Dalwhinnie malt from our village distillery. The menu is scrumptious and the daily specials board quite legendary. The team who will look after you are upbeat and friendly and more than happy to pull a pint of draft beer for you if you've built up a thirst walking, climbing or biking. We rent mountain bikes too and have drying facilities for any wet clothes you might have after a hectic day out. Also, don't forget your laptop so you can enjoy our free Wi-Fi and send those photos back home of the day you kite surfed, climbed Ben Alder or hand-fed the Loch Ness Monster.
