The accommodation designed for business and leisure travellers combines high standards with excellent value. The guest accommodation, situated in one wing of the house has its own guest entrance a very comfortable lounge with log fire and complimentary sherry. The whole house is non-smoking for the comfort of our guests. Each morning we prepare breakfast using only the best produce from our own walled garden and from local farms. We do not offer evening meals but there is an excellent pub a short walk away which serves good food and of course Dorchester with its many restaurants is only one mile away.

The Hotel, built in 1720, retains many interesting and classical Georgian features. As the name suggests many monarchs have stayed at the hotel including Queen Victoria and George iv.
