Literally translated as ‘house of the city’, the NH Hotel De Ville is located on one of the nicest streets in the historic city centre of Groningen.


Get cycling in order to explore Groningen; a city where 50% of journeys are made by bicycle. As the capital of the province with the same name, Groningen has plenty for visitors to see. By Car:
- Follow the A-7 (from the East or West) or the A-28 (from the South) into Groningen.
- Follow signs for Centrum
- Follow the P-route to Ossenmarkt parking.
- The Oude Boteringestraat is situated across the bridge. Due to one way traffic Hotel De Ville is best reached through either street parallel to the Oude Boteringestraat.

Navigating around Groningen by car is notoriously difficult. Parking in the city is limited.
